Tennis. WTA - Indian Wells - Begu célèbre son retour dans le Top 100 en fanfare

Une seule fois présente dans le Top 100 depuis le début de l'année, Irina-Camelia Begu va être tranquille pendant quelques mois. Elle a en effet remporté ce dimanche le WTA 125 d'Indian Wells, La Roumaine, 104e mondiale, n'a laissé aucune chance à Misaki Doi (6-3, 6-3). La Japonaise était pourtant fraîche puisqu'en demi-finale elle avait bénéficié du forfait de Vera Zvonareva, blessée à la hanche. Grâce à ce succès, Irina-Camelia Begu devrait se retrouver au 81e rang mondial. La Roumaine va rester sur site pour prendre part aux qualifications du Premier WTA.
